For use with Genium
The tube adapter is supplied in a standard length of 515 mm, and is cut to length by the prosthetist with a pipe cutter. The correct length of the tube adapter is determined using the X-Soft adjustment software.
Provides torque at the bottom of the pylon where it attaches to the foot to prevent motion between the socket and the residual limb. Transverse plane motion of the torsion adapter while walking can reduce shear stress on the residual limb.
