Multilayers of Medical Grade HTV silicone recreate the color of the skin surface and capture the smallest details such as small veins, skin pigments or hair. Even the acrylic nails are handmade and can be painted if desired.

What is required for custom silicone orders?

Include the following items:

  • Detailed alginate cast of sound side poured with dental plaster in a relaxed natural position with space between fingers
  • Alginate cast of the affected side proximal to styloid processes
  • If a glove is to be fabricated over the prosthesis, the definitive prosthesis must be sent with an inner hand that is one size smaller
  • Measurement of sound side from olecranon to thumb tip with reference on prosthesis
  • Completed Partial Finger / Hand Order Form

Color Matching:

Photographs
Please include the following (refer to Instructions on Taking Pictures for details):

  • Digital photographs of dorsal and palmer aspects of both sound and affected sides that reflect actual coloring of client on a grey background
  • Close-up photographs of nails without polish
